As Jerome says: “I first started out lookalike work when I was 19. I was getting noticed at work. Eventually everywhere I went I had the same problem as the 50 Cent lookalike.

Born in the South Jamaica neighbourhood of the borough of Queens, Jackson began selling drugs at age twelve. This was during the 1980s crack epidemic.
In 2002 Jackson released the compilation album Guess Who’s Back? He was then discovered by Eminem and signed by Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. Jackson was born in the borough of Queens, New York City. He was raised in its South Jamaica neighbourhood by his mother, Sabrina.
A drug dealer, Sabrina raised Jackson until she died in a mysterious fire when Jackson was 8. After his mother’s death and his father’s departure Jackson was raised by his grandmother. Jackson’s popularity began to grow. This was after the successful, controversial underground single “How to Rob”, which he wrote in a half-hour car ride to a studio.
“There’s a hundred artists on that label. You gotta separate yourself from that group and make yourself relevant”. Rappers Jay-Z, Kurupt, Sticky Fingaz, Big Pun, DMX, Wyclef Jean and the Wu-Tang Clan responded to the track. Nas invited Jackson to join him on his Nastradamus tour. Although “How to Rob” was intended to be released with “Thug Love” (with Destiny’s Child), two days before he was scheduled to film the “Thug Love” music video Jackson was shot and hospitalised.
